AB 31: Parks for people
Many communities across California, from the biggest cities to the smallest towns, are starved for more local parks, and the shortage of parks is greatest in low-income and minority communities. AB 31 (de Leon) establishes a spending plan for $400 million approved by the voters in Proposition 84 (2006) to build and expand local parks in those areas most in need of more local parks.
