2006 electoral victories = 2007 legislative success

In formulating our 2008 political strategy (read more about it here), we analyzed how our election victories in 2006 translated into legislative success in 2007. Our wins against well-financed anti-environmental challengers in key races around the state resulted in more environmental votes:

  • Twelve CLCV-endorsed legislators significantly improved on their predecessors’ records, by an average of more than 30 percentage points.
