Californians on the Governor's Race

Because so much is at stake in California, we launched GreenGov2010.org to help environmental protection become a top issue in the gubernatorial campaign. One year later, AB 32 and Props 23 and 26 are getting a share of the headlines, and Californians who care about the environment are making critical choices between now and Tuesday.
At the California League of Conservation Voters, we made our choice after a rigorous endorsement process. To us, there's no question that Jerry Brown has the experience, the passion, and the knowledge to lead California into a cleaner, greener future.
Just days before Californians decide who will lead the way in Sacramento, here's a quick compilation of some of the interviews we conducted with leading Californians of varying backgrounds and from all over the state. We asked them what they value about California's environment, what issues the next governor will have to face, and what they're looking for in a greener governor. Watch them here:
We think you'll agree that Jerry Brown is the environmental choice for governor. Either way, you too can post your opinion (in a blog entry, a photo, or a video) by signing up at GreenGov2010.org.
