Your vote helped the environment win on Tuesday

A big thank you to our environmental voters across the state for your efforts to defeat Propositions 75, 76, and 77. We asked you to turn out the vote for the environment, and you did. Though we won, it is disappointing that we and many others had to spend time, energy, and money on a special election that nobody wanted.

Defeating these propositions was a huge and meaningful win for the people of California and for the environment. Now it's time for the governor and legislature to get back to work in Sacramento, take up stalled environmental legislation, and start listening to Californians. CLCV will be there, fighting to pass strong environmental bills and to elect leaders who understand how to solve California's many environmental challenges.
